Role: Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Reports to: Head of Revenues and Benefits Recruitment

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for finding, attracting, and engaging candidates for senior management and Revenues and Benefits roles that are being managed by our consultants
  • Preparing shortlists formed of the candidates that you have sourced
  • Write, place and update adverts to attract new candidates
  • Conducting research using tools such as LinkedIn to attract new candidates
  • Phone calls with candidates to discuss their job search and qualify their suitability for live roles
  • Track and monitor responses and applications ensuring that any candidates progressed are interviewed, assessed, registered and screened appropriately
  • Maintain regular contact with the established candidate base to manage availability, remuneration expectations and suitability for active assignments
  • Ensure that all candidate information and market intelligence is captured and accurately recorded on our database
  • Gathering client contact details from local authorities and updating/maintaining Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Supporting and developing lasting relationships with candidates and ensuring the constant tracking and monitoring of the interim candidate marketplace to promote and sustain candidate loyalty.
  • Responsible for sending electronic marketing to candidate network
  • Managing compliance expectations for our contractors and ensuring we have everything in place at the start of an assignment.

Qualification

  • Ability to communicate effectively with clarity, confidence and accuracy in both written and verbal communication
  • Ability to communicate over the phone with energy and enthusiasm, building rapport at the earliest opportunity
  • An affinity with learning internal systems and processes
  • Ability to work at pace with multiple job roles at one time; prioritising, balancing and communicating constantly with regards to changing requirements.
  • Excellent IT Skills
  • Solution focused attitude with a will to deliver a high-quality service always
  • Confident and able to proactively identify issues
  • Hard working
  • Have a willingness to learn and to apply learnings to the role
