What were your reasons for starting Tempest Resourcing?

I have been in recruitment for many years and seen the ‘good’ and the ‘bad’, first hand. Having spent time providing consultancy advice to a range of under performing recruitment companies, I realised that impacting other people’s businesses was far less rewarding than actually changing the status quo…so I started Tempest Resourcing.

At Tempest we believe that every one who interfaces with our business deserve the very best experience and service. We operate with integrity and fully partner with the sectors we provide staffing solutions to.

What’s your proudest achievement to date?

Retention and development of our employees is without a doubt our best achievement; we have organically developed two Managing Directors and nearly 20 Team Managers; all through investing in our employees’ career development. We are genuinely passionate and proud of our ability to “build the people who help build our company”.

What makes Tempest different from its competitors?

We make sure everyone walks away from a business relationship with us feeling that they have a fair deal – whether as career partners to our candidates, recruitment partners to our clients or employers to our staff. We don’t pretend to have the cheapest rates – we do however justify our charges, by delivering on our promises and making sure that every recruitment solution we provide is the right one, adding value way beyond the original brief.

We are specialists within the markets we work in and take our responsibility to these vital services very seriously. Consultants are incredibly motivated, work hard and pro-actively search for the best candidates available on the market; we rarely advertise and instead generate candidates through referrals and intensive CV searching.
