As a preferred supplier to over 200 NHS Trusts across the country, we’re now able to support the NHS with their Social Care recruitment needs as well as offering more choice to our candidates. Here is an interview with Tempest Resourcing’s MD Michael Humphreys to talk about what this means in more detail:
What is the National Clinical and Healthcare Staffing Framework and what impact does this have on Tempest Resourcing’s ability to operate within the Social Care Sector?
The National Clinical and Healthcare Staffing Framework is a collaboration between Crown Commercial Service and NHS Procurement in Partnership to deliver a portfolio of health workforce services to the NHS and public sector. After probably the most extensive and detailed tender process we have completed since starting the business 9 years ago, we are extremely pleased to be chosen as one of the preferred suppliers to provide to all Home Care, Residential, Day Care and Social Work vacancies across the country. The ability to recruit extensively into the NHS was the missing piece in our vast client puzzle so we’re very pleased to now offer our experience and expertise to every part of the Social Care industry.
What does this mean for the NHS and Social Work candidates?
We were chosen for this opportunity not only for our high levels of compliance but also due to our extensive network of professionals within the Social Care market. As a preferred supplier to over 150 Local Authorities and 3rd Sector organisations, our place on this framework means we will have significantly more choice for our candidates and for any future candidates who choose to register with Tempest Resourcing.
For the NHS, the new framework ensures that our crucial health service has full access to the best talent, with excellent service and value for money provided by the best suppliers. Especially during these difficult times we’re looking forward to providing our support to the NHS.
What level of positions will be available to candidates?
Positions from Band 2 up to 8b will be available to our candidates. This ranges from Home Carer and Care Assistant positions through to Assistant Director level positions and everything in between. Within this we are expecting to receive a high volume of Social Work positions across multiple disciplines throughout the country.
When will candidates be able to apply for roles?
We have already started registering suitable candidates and are pleased to have our first candidates out in the field.
