Success Stories
A secondary school struggling with student progress in English, Maths, and Science enlisted our tutors three days a week. Within a term, students improved by two grades, from 3 to 5, with increased confidence and engagement. We also introduced 1:1 emotional literacy sessions, which students found invaluable. The success of the NTP led to our contact’s promotion, now overseeing tuition in an additional school.

Secondary School (Tower Hamlets)

A primary school with 46% EAL students needed support to close reading and arithmetic gaps. We provided three full-time tutors working in small groups, leading to significant improvements. One child even increased their reading speed from 75 to 107 words per minute. Confidence in maths has also grown, with students now more engaged and willing to participate. The school continues with the program due to its success.

Primary School (Greenwich)

An alternative provision school sought NTP tuition to engage school-refusing students. We placed a tutor for both remote and on-site 1:1 sessions, leading to attendance rising from 66% to over 80%. The school praised our tutor’s creativity in engaging students, and parents are now more involved. Following this success, we were referred to other schools in the trust, where attendance and engagement have also improved significantly.
